Smiles are what we live for at Shikosha Dental Laboratory, and it’s our anniversary! We’ve been creating smiles for 60 years and are proud to be a local, family-owned business that fabricates its products in-house in Portland, Oregon. We are a certified, full-service dental lab serving Portland, Seattle, and the greater northwest with an expert-level team of technicians skilled in the complex art and science of dental restoration.

Shikosha was founded in 1963 by Tak Yoshida in Yokohama, Japan. Throughout its history, Shikosha has had branches in Los Angles, Guam, Honolulu, and Seattle and has consistently been a pioneer and leader in the industry. Tak established the Portland branch in 1976 and consolidated all business at its 10,000 sqft SE Portland location to become one of the largest privately-owned dental labs in the region.

Tak’s son, Nick, took over leadership in 2011 with the vision to grow and navigate the lab through the digital age of dentistry. Today, Shikosha is proud to be a local, family-owned, minority-owned lab with a diverse team of employees.
